Our Impact

“The kids have learned teamwork, team spirit, and the value of working hard together as a cohesive unit.”

— Mr. Williams, Year 3 teacher

This journey, which began with a small rugby club in 2004 to improve opportunities and outcomes for vulnerable young people, has transformed into a powerful force for change thanks to unwavering partner support and belief in our mission. Since SportInspired’s inception in 2008, we’ve made an incredible impact in the schools and local communities that we work in:

We are particularly proud of our incredible team. Each individual embodies our core values and demonstrates what we can achieve when we work together towards a common goal. Our growth these past few years would not be possible without the dedication and passion of them.

"My favourite thing about taking part was watching a completely disconnected and grumpy child transform into being happy and fully inspired."

— Jesal, Volunteer

As we look to the future, our commitment to support young people and build positive attitudes to sport and activity as the foundations of a healthy and successful life remains as strong as ever. We understand the challenges ahead, but we are encouraged by our past successes and driven by the potential of what we can accomplish together. We are grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Your support, whether as a partner organisation, donor, supporter, volunteer, board advisor, or team member has been indispensable. Together, we are making a difference, and we are excited to see what we will achieve next.

“My goal is now to go on to university to get a teaching and sports science degree. I would have never thought this could be possible.”
— Dylan, 14
